Altarpiece adoration of Magdalena before crucified Jesus - Baroque - Wood - 17th century

Here we have part of an altarpiece of possibly Spanish origin by the technique used in its manufacturing (stew) , dated by expert, from the seventeenth century. We have Mary Magdalene praying by the body of Jesus Christ crucified and how she is enlightened by the light of God. The carved skull, the holy Grail, the rose at the foot of the cross were all painted on gold leaf. You can see how the background is finely painted, full of details such as trees, shrubs, stars. . . as well as the mantle covering Maria Magdalena is full of finely crafted details which are present, despite the 400 years of age of this object.
