Condition Report:
Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down and hinged to the mount in two places along the upper edge and floating in the overmount. The left edge of the recto is serrated consistent with the removal from the artist's sketchbook. The right edge has been light torn. There is a small tear, skinning and associated minor paper loss to the upper left corner. There are pinholes (possibly the artist) to the upper left corner, centre of the upper edge, upper right and lower right corners. There are further small spots of white discolouration to the lower left corner that appear to correspond to historic infilled pinholes. There are spots of foxing to the recto and verso. There are studio and handling marks to the sheet. This work is in overall good condition.
