American Art Pottery Mottled Glaze Urn-Form Table Lamp Base

An American art pottery earthenware lamp base featuring an urn-form body. The vessel is decorated with a variegated matte drip glaze in mottled shades of forest green and reddish-brown, reminiscent of the Coppertone glazes produced by Weller Pottery. The form includes a smooth upper shoulder and a fluted or ribbed lower half, flanked by two stylized scalloped handles with a feathered or winged design. The body is supported by a circular stepped pedestal base. The underside is covered in green felt and retains several collection labels, including a circular silver and black label for the Rubin-Noir Collection, a rectangular white paper label with handwritten numbers 3284-7, and a torn green paper label marked R.A.A.C. 93.
