A 19th century American Banjo clock. 8-day weight driven time only movement with a painted Iron dial and Roman numerals marked "Warranted by Wm. Cummens, Roxbury". Mahogany case with Gilded front, Gilded Brass Eagle finial over a molded Brass dial door, tapered throat panel with applied rope moldings and reverse painted glass flanked by shaped Brass side arms, lower door with a reverse painted glass with figures in a landscape. Refinished case with minor wear, repainted dial and Gilding, restored "Moberg" glasses, replaced finial weight & pulley, running when cataloged. 34 1/4" high overall. ESTIMATE $2,000-3,000
