Description: An American brass solar-type lamp with a rounded reservoir above a fluted stem and molded lower standard. A surrounding ring suspends rectangular glass pendants in two tiers, the longer drops decorated with foliate cutting beneath smaller square elements. The stepped white marble foot carries a brass border worked with repeated leaf motifs. An etched and cut glass shade has a bulbous lower body, narrowed neck and undulating rim. The burner area has been adapted for an electric socket, with wiring emerging behind the stem.
