American Chippendale Figured Maple Tall Chest

mid to late 18th century, Pennsylvania or Southern, configuration of five short drawers over five graduated long drawers, spurred dovetailed bracketed base, yellow pine and other mixed secondary woods, possibly original batwing brasses, 62-3/4 x 41 x 22-1/4 in.

Condition Report: structurally sound, minor separation at one front corner of cornice, three drawers with repaired corners, some drawers with missing lock plates, small losses to drawer lips, rear return corners with strip patches, scattered minor cracks and shrinkages, surface abrasions and other wear expected with age and use
