American Grandfather Clock

A 19th century American grandfather clock. 30-hour weight driven time and strike birdcage movement with metal gears and wooden plates, painted wooden dial with Roman numerals and center calendar hand. Cherry Sheraton style case a broken arch top over an arched door flanked by four turned columns and rectangular waist door with a paneled base and turned feet. Older refinishing with some damage, replaced hood rosettes, not running when cataloged. 94 1/2" high. ESTIMATE $300-500
