Lot includes one sterling demitasse spoon from a set of nine, with a silver-gilt bowl and shell motif by Dominick & Haff (New York, 1872-1928), one sterling teaspoon from a set of eight, with Quaker City Gun Club medallion, by Manchester Silver Company (Providence, c. 1920-70), one lunch fork by Bailey & Kitchen (Philadelphia, 1832-47), one dinner fork by Hubbard Goldsmith Stone (New York, 1835-47), one twist-handle butter spreader by Alexander Keim (Philadelphia, 1841-89), and one cheese knife by Krider & Biddle for Conklin (Philadelphia, 1858-70).
Most examples marked. 109 ozt (gross weight).
Condition Report: Lot includes twenty-three forks, thirty-nine knives and five sets of spoons. Some various makers include Bigelow Bros. & Kennard of Boston, Skinner & Sweet of Boston, Duhme & Co. of Cincinnati, Albert Coles of New York, Gorham Manufacturing Company of Providence, and Traugott Leinbach of Salem. Varying wear and dents commensurate with age and use. A few examples with considerably more wear. Most examples monogrammed.
