Approximately 361 pieces total of various makes, sizes, and decoration. Lot includes one with an engraved hand holding roses by Bigelow, Kennard & Co. (Boston, 1863-1923), one with monogram by Jonathan Packard (Rochester, 1816-54), one thread edge fiddle by Franklin Richmond (Providence, 1817-58), one bright-cut engraved with scroll design by Gilbert Greene (Clinton, 1845-75) and two with engraved names, one by Matson & Loomis, (Milwaukee, 1859-64), the other by R. Wallace & Sons (Wallingford, c. 1871).
Most examples marked. 257 ozt.
Condition Report: Some various makers include Samuel M. Hopper of Philadelphia, Pardon Miller of Providence, Gorham & Webster of Providence, Johnston & Boullt of Hagerstown, John W. Haight of Auburn, Oliver DeWitt Seymour of Hartford, John B. Ginochio of New York, Oscar Easterly Sibley of Buffalo, and Platt & Bro. of New York. Varying wear and dents commensurate with age and use. Some examples with considerably more wear. Most examples monogrammed. A few marked sterling.
