American Motors (AMC) - SST 79K - 1969

History: This car was new and purchased in Holland by my Grandpa in 1970 (1969 model) and has approx. 122,000 km (76K miles) . The car was assembled in Germany by Karmann and is one of the 280 produced. A very rare car and very hard to find. Bodywork: The floor panels and wheel arches are replaced in 2011 (see photo’s) . The car was sprayed in 2K epoxy primer and finished in white as original. Trunk had some bad spots and repaired. Paint is reasonable condition, although some small scratches. Top Vinyl was replaced, has some small burning spots. Open roof installed by Importer (HAI) . Engine Car drives good, and the automatic transmission shifts fine. Small oil leakage at the valve covers. Recently bearings, timing chain and Seal replaced. 4 Piston Calipers replaced by stainless steal revised ones. Interior: Bucket seats have new linings. Floor carpet is renewed. Door window left side needs to be re-positioned. Shipment: Car can be shipped worldwide. Cost is for Buyer.
