[American Revolution] [Dunlap, John] In Congress, March 25, 1777...

(Philadelphia: John Dunlap) March 25, 1777. One sheet, 13 1/2 x 8 15/16 in. (343 x 227 mm). Printed broadside, being "a Resolve of Congress of the 3d of October, 1776, the Commissioners of the Loan-Offices were directed to transmit to the Continental Treasurer once a month an account of the Cash in their respective Offices...", addressed to Commissioner of the Loan-Office for the State of Connecticut, John Lawrance, at bottom; MS address on verso made out to Lawrance; remnants of wax seal on verso, hole created by same on opposite side. Anderson 8C; Evans 15657. Lot includes an engraved print.

State, the Sum of/One hundred & ninety nine thousand, Eight hundred/& fifty two 5/6 D, in Old Continental Bills of/Credit, for the use of the united States..." Creasing from original folds; docketed on verso.
