third quarter 19th century, bearing the stenciled label of Mitchell & Rammelsberg Furniture Co., Cincinnati, Ohio, with an arched and paneled headboard with an elaborately floral-carved crest, the footboard with a foliate spray applied to the panel, reduced in height.

Condition Report: The right side rail has a hole worn through the side where the bolt is (likely from the tool to tighten the bed bolts). The footboard has a separation to the seam where the right end curves. The headboard posts have been reduced in height and the headboard lowered. Scattered dings from use. The footboard is slightly sun-faded. The carved elements are very well executed. The inside measurements: 64" wide, 81" long. Depending on the construction of the box spring, the headboard posts may interfere with the corners of the box spring.
