American Rococo Revival Laminated Rosewood Side Chair
third quarter 19th century, attributed to J. & J. W. Meeks, New York, in the pattern commonly referred to as "Henry Ford", with a pierced and carved back with a floral cartouche, raised on cabriole legs.

Condition Report: The legs, back and apron joints all appear to be tight, and the chair is solid and stable. The upholstery is stained. The cushions retain good firmness and form. There are scattered small shrinkage separations throughout and some vertical veneer tears on the verso of the back. There is some de-lamination in the area of the tip of the crest.
