American Tradition Series Brinns Martha Washington
Circa 1987. Vintage Brinn's American Tradition Series Costume Doll, 'First Lady', Martha Custis Washington, in satin and lace gown, original box. A very attractive ‘American Tradition’ doll by Brinns, dated 1987, with padded cloth body and face, hands and feet in some type of composition with hand-painted details. According to the box a depiction of Martha Custis Washington, and part of a limited edition series. She has silvery-white curly hair beneath a lacy mob cap, lace shawl and pink-peach satin gown with lace overskirt. On her arm is a small brown satin reticule printed ‘Worn by George and Mrs. Washington. The doll is in excellent condition. COA included. There is no known wear or tear to the body, face, and clothing. The box has some known shelf wear.  Made of plastic. The doll measures approx. 4" x 16". The box measures approx. 6 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 17"
