Full contemporary calf, boards and joints rubbed, extremities worn, front and rear boards scratched, stamped in gilt, red leather spine label; all edges trimmed; foxing and toning to prelims, some foxing and soiling to text, occasional underlining in pencil; newspaper clippings tipped in on first blank leaf and verso of second rear blank; old collator's notes on rear paste-down.
