Displaying beautifully defined growth chambers, some filled with shimmering quartz crystals, this ammonite exhibits neutral tones and fine preservation. Ammonites are extinct cephalopods, squid-like predatory marine creatures which lived until the end of the Cretaceous and disappeared along with the dinosaurs. The present specimen is highly decorative and visually fascinating.
