A very large Arietites sp. from Balingen's Jura, Lias Alpha. about 180 million years old. Aries of this size can hardly be found any more. The fossil is in a very beautiful state of preservation and looks due to its massive, very large appearance. It was painstakingly prepared by a master of his trade. The Arietites comes from my private collection!
