Amulet - Burkina Faso

This elongated amulet was tied to the leg below the knee. It represents a snake and is used to prevent and cure snake bites. In a general sense it should provide protection against the influence of bad spirits or all kinds of diseases.
These types of amulets are attributed to the Lobi but are also used by the Senoufo.
They are rare and rarely offered. This is a unique opportunity for a collector.
