Amulet - pendant, shaped like a bunch of grapes.
Amulet is any portable object to which some supernatural virtue is superstitiously attributed: attracting good luck or ensuring the protection of its owner (apotropaic effect). Amulets are some of the oldest objects of mankind, as man saw in them a way to escape from the evils that afflicted him, be they physical, moral or spiritual. The first amulets were natural objects, such as stones, carved wood or natural crystals, which were prized for their shape, colour or rarity. Later, people chose to possess everyday objects that, having been owned by someone or having been part of an event, were kept on the assumption that they would have a certain power.
