She studied at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, and with Xavier Gonzales, Peppino Mangravite and Carlus Dryer. Among many others, Jones created illustrations for Standard Oil of New Jersey; Woman's Day; and publishing houses Random House, Thomas Y. Crowell, and World Publishing.
