An 1842 model jagerstutzen Augustin system, with
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Austria, Octagonal, rifled, 14 mm cal. barrel, with cylindrical nozzle, stamped 'W.N.', with imperial eagle, crowned mark 'F' and remains of other stamps, rear sight of two heights, with foldaway sight leaf, brass fore-sight, clutch for a bayonet. Remains of finishing (antique?). Lock with Augustin system, dated '847' and with Austrian stamp; wooden, full stock (restored woodworm holes) with brass mounts, butt with patchbox (wood of different color). In working order. Complete with socket bayonet with stamped base, provided with irrelevant scabbard. Scarce. length 104,7 cm.
