An 1868 Model infantry trooper's Raupenhelm

Condition: good
Skull, visor and neckguard of blackened leather, with a dark wool comb. The front fitted with the Bavarian brass escutcheon bearing a Gothic "L". Leather chin-strap with pin buckle, brass lion-head cheek-pieces, and a silvered and blue-enamelled metal cockade with a Gothic "L" at the centre. Interior retaining its leather liner.
