by John Henry Lucas, commissioned utilising family gemstones. An old European cut diamond, four claw set to the centre, with rose cut diamond set claws and an old European cut diamond rub set to each side. A cushion cut sapphire, rub set in a plain collet above and below, with open petal shaped surrounds, decorated with pairs of polished beads. Trifurcated reeded shoulders, each set with three rose cut diamonds to a two row shank. London 1963. A case by W M Hawkes & Son, 50-52 Walton Street, SW3. Head 20.30mm wide, 7.81g.
