An 18ct gold octagonal-shape aquamarine and baguette-cut diamond ring. Aquamarine weight 10.84cts. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct, G-H colour, VS-SI clarity. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Ring size M. 8.4gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition good to fair.
Light marks, wear and a small dent to one side of the band, in keeping with general wear.
Band shows evidence of resizing.
Diamonds well matched.
Diamonds bright.

Diamonds generally with few minor inclusions under 10x magnification, one of the longer baguette-cuts with small scattered dark inclusions.
Aquamarine is a medium slightly greenish blue hue, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions. Light lattice-like planar inclusion of small cavities to one half of the stone and smaller plane to the opposite side.

Aquamarine with moderate chip to one corner by the girdle, extending down the pavilion.
Aquamarine with minor abrasions to facet edges.

Estimated dimensions of aquamarine 14 by 11.1 by 7.9mms.
