An 18ct gold side wind half hunter pocket watch, by Langford, with a 48mm case and navy enamel Roman numeral chapter ring to the front cover, a white dial, black Roman numerals, blued double spade hands, subsidiary seconds dial, gold cuvette, case no. 4853, London 1875, suspending a 9ct gold Albert chain, with 9ct gold T bar, with elongated cable links and a swivel to each end, hallmarked Birmingham 1854, 148.07g Condition Report: Currently running at time of cataloguing. No guarantee as to timekeeping or continued running. Hands adjust, however sometimes the crown catches and hands do not move further. Abrasions, small scratches and pitting to front cover glass. Enamel to front cover chapter ring showing pitting to surface, visible by 10x magnification. Gold bow worn to top and at a slightly angle. Small pit to front cover. A few minor nicks to case sides. Marks and scratches to surfaces. T bar currently suspended by chain as a pendant. Swivels to chain both secure, one closes with a gap. Minor tarnish.
