An 18ct gold treated opal single-stone ring. The oval treated opal cabochon collet, with openwork shoulders. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Ring size V. Weight 7.8gms. Purchasing information Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. The opal has been sugar acid treated. Opal has a bluish-black body colour with fairly good play of colour, predominantly greens. Opal in good to fair condition with moderate abrasion and minor nicks.
