Property from Suffield House, a David Adler Design: The Estate of Roland E. Casati, Lake Forest, Illinois European Furniture & Decorative Arts Appearing in overall good, stable, and ready to place condition. The exterior of the case exhibits sun fading throughout. Scattered chips and repairs to the veneer with one section of loose veneer on the proper right side. The pulls are replacements and there are filled holes from the original hardware that are not immediately noticeable. Age splits in the leaves of the buffet and marks where the leaves have contacted the top. Old glue residue in the proper right back corner of the folding top, not visible with closed. The proper left tambour door sticks. Additional images are available upon request.
