Item/Description: 19th Century 18K gold opera glasses in original velvet presentation box. Ornate, Embossed scrollwork handle with crown motif. Hanging loop. Hallmarked in triplicate: on each rim and at hinge include eagles head; other unrecognizable hallmark; and a maker's mark at hinge which reads in part: candelabra image, letter M.

Material: 18K Gold, Metal, Glass.

Dimensions: Length: 7 3/4" (including bale); Width:1 1/4"; Total weight approximately 67.2 grams.

Condition: Very good. Light surface scratches, patina. Spring mechanism in good working order.

Age: 19th Century, French.
