Up for sale is a pair of hand painted Amphora porcelain statues. The statues depict a lady and a gentleman and their dogs – perhaps attending a race event? These statues are unusual as they are very large and made in soft pastel colors, which was not common of Amphora porcelain items.; Estimated Age: These statues are estimated to have been made in Austria during the 19th Century. Both statues are fully marked at the bottom and have incised marks and numbers.; Dimensions: The size of these statues is as follows:; Gentleman: is 20.5” tall; and 8.5” wide.; Lady: is 20.5” tall; and 85” wide.; Condition: The left ear of the gentleman’s dog is chipped-off; there are some tiny chips on the flowers (not visible); the left hand of the lady has an old professional restoration; as seen in pictures!; Please note that this is an antique item; therefore you should not expect to have a new or an in perfect condition looks.
