Repaired from numerous fragments, with small amounts of fill and small amounts of overpainting over the fill. The handle with at least two visible repaired fractures. Minor flakes and tiny losses to the added white.

Note:
This prochous (oinochoe shape 10) was attributed to the Menzies Group by A.D. Trendall in personal correspondence, March 15, 1991. Trendall notes the similarities to published parallels in determining this attribution, including Eros’ attributes of a phiale and wreath. This piece was later published in Trendall’s supplements to The Red-figured Vases of Apulia. A copy of this correspondence will be provided to the purchaser.
