An Art Deco cabochon Burmese ruby and diamond ring, the certified ruby within a bombe style diamond set mount, with white metal milgrain setting leading to plain polished shank, unmarked, ring size N, 6.8gms, within an associated Collingwood box, accompanied by an AnchorCert stating the natural no heat Burmese ruby to weigh 5.37ct and to be of a vivid purplish red

Ruby shows some surface reaching blemishes (seen with x10 loupe)
Inclusions are present to the stone.
Appears ruby is a little loose in mount, may require attention.
Various cuts of diamonds are set in the mount.
All appear bright, lively and well matched in colour.
Minor inclusions can be seen under x10 loupe.
Under bezel and milgrain setting shows very little wear/thinning.
Cage to reverse of cabochon shows some mishappen bars.
Stamped to interior of shank with indistinct mark.
Shank has been replaced with visible join marks.
General surface scuffs, scratches and blemishes seen throughout, commensurate with age and use.
