old European, old mine, Swiss and eight cut diamonds, grain set to the pierced head, with milligrain edging, to tapered chenier shoulders and a flat section shank. Marked PLAT. Head 14 x 13mm, 4.21g.

Surface marks/scratches to mount.
Sizing join visible at base of shank.
Shank slightly out of shape, and a little thinner at base.
One of the smaller diamonds has a small chip under one claw, and some chips or surface reaching inclusions to the girdle, visible under 10x magnification, not visible with the naked eye. There are no apparent surface reaching inclusionsor chips to the other diamonds.
