An Art Deco diamond, sapphire and synthetic sapphire bar brooch, c.1925,
an old brilliant cut diamond, milligrain set to the centre, with an open frame to a tapered bar with a central row of square, calibré cut sapphires and scissor cut synthetic sapphires, with rose cut diamonds to each end and to the centre. All milligrain set in white and backed in gold. Tested as approximately 18ct gold faced with platinum. 69 x 7.10mm, 4.98g

Chips to edge of one of the sapphires.
Abrasions to facet junctions of some of the sapphires.
Some of the sapphires are later replacements.
