An Art Deco platinum diamond and sapphire brooch. Of openwork design, the vari-cut diamond central panel, with rectangular-shape sapphire line border, to the single-cut diamond and vari-shape sapphire geometric sides. Estimated total diamond weight 1.40cts. Length 5.7cms. Weight 7.9gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
Later replacement pin (electronically test as approximately 15ct gold).
Diamonds well matched and bright.
Principal diamond with eye visible inclusions and a chip to the table facet.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Two sapphires chipped.
Sapphires are a well matched deep blue hue.
