An Art Deco platinum sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The oval-shape sapphire collet, with old-cut diamond and calibre-cut sapphire surround, to the rose-cut diamond openwork shoulders. Estimated dimensions of principal sapphire 11.5 by 8.5 by 4.8mms. Estimated total diamond weight 1.20cts. French assay marks. Approximate ring size M1/2. Weight 5.8gms. With case.
Condition Report: Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
Band slightly out of shape.
Possible replacement band. Evidence of possible repair/ alteration to one of the shoulders.
Diamonds well matched.
Diamonds bright.

Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Diamonds generally with few minor inclusions. Some with small light and feather inclusion. One appears to have a small chip to one side.
Principal sapphire is a deep blue hue, well saturated, with good clarity, typical inclusions and moderate colour zoning to one side.

Principal sapphire in good to fair condition with some light scratches and abrasions.

Non-principal sapphires generally in good condition. One with moderate chip and some with nicks and nibbles.
