An Art Deco three-seater sofa, upholstered in bright amethyst silk, stained beech rails, 80cm high, 217cm wide, 79cm deep
Provenance: Leslie Claire Margaret Caron (b. 1 July 1931) is a French-American actress and dancer who appeared in 45 films between 1951 and 2003.
Condition Report:
The frame with marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use, also some scuffs and knocks, it appears to have been polished/varnished - probably when then upholstery was replaced. The upholstery much later and recently done, this appears in presentable condition overall, stuffing beneath probably also replaced at the same time and probably doesn't need re-doing. There is some surface dirt and what appears to be sand - this would benefit from a brush and a vacuum clean.
