An Art Nouveau cased and surface decorated vase, possibly 'Hekla' glass by the Bohemian firm Harrach, c.1900, ground out pontil, The lobed form with an agate coloured interior, with broad undulating rim, with streaked and coloured outer layer that exhibits a nacreous hue, further decorated in relief with a type of gilded gesso or slip trailed embellishment of sinuous tendrils and flowers, 9 cm high, 18 cm long, 12.3 cm wide
Some bubbles and speck inclusions from the making process. The vase wobbles a little. There are some small losses to the applied/gesso decoration. Rubbing to the gilding on the neck. A few abrasions in the interior/bottom of the vase. Wear to underside of base.
