An Art Nouveau diamond set brooch/pendant, c.1890,
of scrolling whiplash form. A cushion cut diamond, estimated as approximately 2.10ct, claw set to the centre, with lines of graduated rose cut diamonds set throughout. A palmette spray top to blade edge bars, with graduated diamonds in cut down collets, and a diamond pendant drop below. A fold down pendant eyelet to the top, bale deficient, with a later brooch pin and lever catch. Tested as approximately sterling silver, backed in 9ct gold. 52 x 38mm, 9.17g.
