An Arts & Crafts style silver bowl by Omar Ramsden, the planished hexagonal bowl with applied pierced rim of entwined foliate scrolls, and raised on six bracket feet, with personal presentation engraving to the base. Hallmarked Omar Ramsden, London 1934 and further inscribed, 'OMAR RAMSDEN ME FECIT'. Maximum diameter 4.75" (12cm) and height 2.75" (7cm), weight 6.97 ozt (217 grams).
Condition Report:
- Presentation engraving located around the circumference of the base and reads, 'To Beatrice M.H. Tallents from the St. Philips Missionary Guild 1920-1935.'
- Appears in good overall condition.
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
- Some slightly heavier contact wear and scuffs around the edges and underside of the feet.
- With a very slight wobble.
- Hallmarks loacted to the centre of the base with 'Omar Ramsden me fecit' above, all still clear and crisp with some light rubbing.
