An Arts & Crafts style silver three piece bachelor tea service by Amy Sandheim, comprising teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug, each of circular planished form decorated with a border of bosses and raised on three ball feet, the teapot with stained wood handle and finial to the curved and hinged lid. Hallmarked London 1926, with impressed facsimile signature to base and numbered 68. Maximum teapot length measuring 9 1/2 inches (24 cm), gross weight 17.5 ozt (544.4 grams). The tea service appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some tarnishing and surface wear, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. A few minor surface dints and bumps. Slight compression to a couple of the feet on the sugar and cream jug leaving slight impressions to the interior. On the cream jug there is a slight impression from the base of the handle into the main body. Heavy staining to the interior of the teapot. The hinged lid appears in good working order, although there is some slight sideways movement. Also slight movement to the wood handle. Slight crack to the wood finial. All hallmarks are clear and legible.
