* An Assembled French Gilt Bronze Mounted Porcelain Clock Garniture

19th/20th century
the clock having a porcelain urn above the porcelain dial having Roman numeral hours, with a Japy Freres time and strike movement, the vases each decorated with courting couples in landscapes, the versos decorated with buildings in landscapes.
Height of clock 16 1/2 inches, height of vases 14 3/4 inches.

Vases do not have lids. Porcelain with light surface scratches and wear but no visible signs of restoration. Several "jewels" missing. Bronze with areas of oxidation. Clock winds, runs and strikes but has not been reviewed by a clock specialist.
