An Assorted Group of Ten Multi-Coloured Jade ‘Gourds, Ruyi and Fruit’ Pendant Carvings, 98EX

This attractive assembled group comprises ten individually carved jade pendants displaying a rich spectrum of visual tones including pale translucent white, honey yellow, mottled deep green, soft sky blue and light celadon, with forms dominated by double?bulb gourds alongside stylised ruyi and rounded fruit motifs, each piece shaped with smooth, flowing outlines and subtle surface detailing. The gourd, ruyi and fruit motifs collectively symbolise abundance, longevity, wish fulfilment and auspicious blessings within traditional Chinese iconography. Each jade specimen exhibits distinct natural colouration, from semi?translucent clear bodies to densely mottled inclusions and gentle hue gradients across the group. Every carving is smoothly burnished to a bright, glossy finish, with rounded edges and refined low?relief work suited for wear as pendants, the largest specimen measuring 2.3 cm x 2 cm.
