A collection of decorative objects by various manufacturers including Minton and Limoges, dating from the second half of the 20th century. The collection comprises:
A set of ruby-coloured glass vessels held in openwork gilded metal mounts, comprising six small cups and matching saucers.
A Minton Haddon Hall pattern small dish, the underside bearing a brown printed backstamp with a wreath and crown motif reading 'FOUNDED 1793 MINTON BONE CHINA MADE IN ENGLAND DESIGNED BY John Wadsworth HADDON HALL B-1451'.
A Limoges porcelain miniature pitcher decorated with a pastoral scene and heavy gilding, the base bearing a green printed mark reading 'LIMOGES FRANCE' and handwritten script 'Claude Beachet Limoges'.
A St. Andrews Pottery fine bone china saucer from the 'Flowers of Scotland' series, featuring a thistle illustration and a green circular printed mark.
Two Wedgwood style green jasperware pieces featuring white classical relief motifs, including a small circular dish and a heart-shaped tray.
A trio of Chinese immortal figures in polychrome glazed porcelain, alongside a Lladro style figurine of a woman with a parasol and a pair of Dutch figures in blue and white.
A selection of cobalt blue porcelain miniatures with gilded classical scenes, including several small two-handled vases and three ashtrays.
Glassware items including a large red vase with gold star motifs, a frosted glass vase with a white cameo medallion, and a blue glass ruffled-rim vase with floral decoration.
Four wooden cups or small vases, including one with a burnt bamboo design, and a ceramic bowl and cream jug decorated with scenes of Mount Fuji.
More Information
The collection appears to be in generally good condition. There is visible wear to the gilding on the small black and cobalt blue ashtrays. Minor surface marks are present on the undersides of the white porcelain pieces. The parasol on the female figurine is intact but shows minor age-related discolouration to the lace. No major chips or cracks are immediately apparent upon visual inspection.
