More Information
The programmes exhibit varying degrees of age-related wear across the collection. Visible creasing and horizontal 'pocket folds' are present on multiple covers, notably on the 1972 Wales v New Zealand (photo 7) and 1967 Wales v England (photo 6) examples. Surface soiling, yellowing, and foxing are evident throughout, consistent with the age of the paper. Rusting is visible on the staples of older 1960s programmes, resulting in minor staining to the adjacent paper (photo 2). Several examples show edge fraying and small tears, including a notable tear to the bottom edge of the 1961 England v France programme (photo 5). Many items feature handwritten ink signatures and annotations on the front covers as described.
