An Eastern Orthodox bronze censer, c. 18th Century

An Eastern Orthodox bronze censer, c. 18th Century, in the form of a Globus Cruciger upon a flared pedestal base with hinged handle. The lid also is hinged and working, the sides holed and surmounted by a cross. 5 1/2 x 6 in (14 x 15.2 cm). Well-preserved with light green patination. Ex Los Angeles private collection.
