Aitkin and Son, Birmingham, 1905, oblong, the oak cover with foliage and flower stamped corner mounts, the centre mount similarly stamped and with an owl and vacant cartouche, 34cm high; Together With: a a metal and bone mounted green leather desk blotter, 21cm high (2)

. The Edward VII Example: Fully marked on each mount. The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a minor softening to the high points. There are some bruises. The interior is material lined. The material is slightly worn in places. The back is brown leather which has some scuffs and marks. The leather example: There are some scuffs and marks to the leather overall. There is some rust and corrosion to the metal mounts.
