An Edwardian, platinum, diamond and sapphire pendant necklace, designed as an old-brilliant-cut diamond-set lozenge shaped openwork panel with central millegrain-set principal diamond within diamond foliate surround and calibre sapphire detail, to a diamond pendant loop and white gold fine neckchain, c.1905, approx. width of pendant 4.2cm, length of neckchain approx. 39.5cm, in fitted case with alternative brooch fitting and screwdriver, stamped Goldsmiths Company Ltd
Please refer to department for condition report Gross weight approx. 13.4g (inc. neckchain). French assay mark to the neckchain. Pendant: approx. weight of central diamond 0.50 carats. Estimated colour approx. I-J. Estimated clarity approx. VS. General estimated colour of remaining diamonds approx. H-J, estimated clarity VS- SI1. Calibre sapphires of good colour and clarity. No evidence of damage or repair. Some minor gaps between the calibre sapphires. Case in good condition commensurate with age.
