Conventional rectangular form, the whole plain polished with reeded rims, one side with three hinged covers opening to reveal compartments for two glass inkwells and an additional space with glass insert, the other side featuring a long horizontal hinged cover, the interior with glass insert for pens, a central hinged scroll carrying handle to the exterior, all raised on four globular feet, height handle top 12cm, length 18cm, weight 24.5oz.
