An Edwardian white gold opal and diamond brooch,
with an oval cabochon opal, milligrain set in a plain shallow collet. An open flat wire frame, with cushion-shaped Swiss cut diamonds, grain set in box collets at equal intervals. Open scrolling sections to each end, milligrain set with old eight cut diamonds, to a pin and lever catch. Tested as approximately 18ct white gold. 53 x 30mm, 14.59g

Surface reaching dehydration line. Surface dimple deliberately left when the opal was polished.
