An Egyptian alabaster cup, Old Kingdom, c. 2686 - 2181 BC, with flattened base, the walls flaring wide with thick walls. Nice translucent stone with attractive banding. H: 2 7/8 in (7.3 cm); Dia: 4 in (10.2 cm). Attractive mineral deposits. Ex New Jersey private estate.
